The Maplewood Club (MLC) is committed to diversity and inclusion because we believe that our community is strengthened by the vibrant exchange that occurs when individuals come together to share their various perspectives and experiences and their love of tennis. • MLC considers every application fairly and honestly in accordance with Club rules and in compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination laws.  

• MLC may prioritize under-represented individuals and families, including Black, Latinx, Asian, Native Americans, and LGBTQ applications in an effort for MLC membership to reflect the broader demographics of Maplewood and South Orange. 

• MLC has zero tolerance for any racist, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory language or behavior by its members.  Such language or behavior could result in expulsion from the club.
